How to go to Cu Chi tunnels?

From Hanoi

Fortunately, this is the most famous tourist destination in Saigon, so there is always a route from Hanoi to the Cu Chi Tunnels tourist area. Therefore, people in The North and Central of Vietnam are easy to go to Cu Chi by bus with a lot of buses in a day. The bus will go on the route 1A Highway to Binh Duong province, then along Nguyen Chi Thanh Avenue in Binh Duong to Cu Chi District.

Those who cannot go by bus can “hunt” airline tickets from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, to Tan Son Nhat airport, the price is about 1,000,000 VND – 1,500,000 VND / ticket / person. From Tan Son Nhat Airport, you can take a taxi or a bus to go to Cu Chi Tunnels.

– Xuan Dao beef

This restaurant is from Cu Chi overpass for several hundred meters, located on the national highway 22 towards the center. There are many delicious dishes made from beef, but perhaps the most delicious is still grilled beef. In particular, the price is quite reasonable, you can eat comfortably without worrying about price as many other places.

– Vuon Cau sugar cane juice with durian flavour

This cafe is about 3 km away from Cu Chi Bridge. If you go to An Suong overpass, try to go to this cafe to enjoy a special sugar cane juice glass which does not have anywhere. Make sure you will like it.

Notes for traveling to Cu Chi Tunnels

There will be free games when buying tickets, most games are charged. The price changes more or less over time.

Traveling to Cu Chi on holidays of 2 Sept or 3 Feb, entrance ticket is more expensive but there are more incentives. However, some special days like 23 Nov (Nam Ky Revolutionary), 26 April (Liberation of Cu Chi), 27 July and 19 August usually have small promotions.

If you decide to go through a tunnel, note, there are tunnels very small, just enough for one person get through, quite hot and asphyxiate, you should careful.

You also need to avoid getting lost in the forest that tour guide does not manage.
